Earliest entire is from 1761 to the Jamaican Coffee House in London. Letter dated 1787 from Kingston, Jamaica to Edinburgh via Falmouth and London. Contents are of a commercial nature. Other items include 1791 Kingston to London with Bishop Mark. 1804 Morant Bay to Hatton Garden London, Ship marking PHMS Elephant (connections with Nelson). Several other items with Ship markings, charge marks (sometimes charged), Scottish letter tax mark, etc. A study of numeral obliterator's and square circles, examples on stamps and covers.
