Yaka Janus figure Janus figures are images of male and female attached together, each has its individual sexual organs, independent limbs and other physical parts but sharing mutual coiffure of the Yaka style. This fetish figure or power figure, is generally used by diviners in the healing and protection rituals they held. Sometimes these figures are also used by individuals, families and entire villages too in the fight against evil. The shown figure is an example of excellent delicate craftsmanship.
