Group of two framed Japanese watercolor scroll paintings, painted in the style of the Kano School, the dominant style of Japanese painting from the late 15th century until the 19th Century Meiji period. Artist stamps and profuse Japanese characters. Presented in gilt wood frames. Includes original 1986 receipts from CHARLES R GRACIE & SONS (New York). Good overall condition with normal wear. Measures 52 1/2 in. x 19 in. (work area), 62 1/2 in. x 27 1/2 in. (framed). Hill Auction Gallery will not ship. Gallery will refer a local third party shipper for international and U.S. buyers.
