A Japanese bronze tiger by Jozan and dating to the Meiji Period. The tiger is shown in motion with its feet striding forward and has inlaid stone eyes. The bottom of the statue is signed.
Dimensions are: 13 inches tall X 30 inches wide, 33.02 cm X 76.2 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: No noted damage.
Provenance: From a private collection in Lorton, Virginia. The collector has been restoring antiques for over 50 years in the Washington, D.C. area.
