Japanese Bronze Tripod Censer, Meiji
A Japanese bronze tripod censer dating from the Meiji period. The censer has two handles and a lid. The body features dragon roundels among ruyi motifs. The lid features a Qilin holding a ball in its mouth. The bottom of the censer is incised with a 3-character mark.
Dimensions are: 16 inches tall X 9 1/2 inches wide; 40.6 cm tall X 24.1 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Overall good condition with minor pitting.
