Japanese WWII Officers Dress Coat, Belt, Sword
A M1894 three-quarter full dress frock coat with bullion braid on sleeves and collar and with cherry blossom buttons. Coat with label: T,DOI - Tokio Japan. Comes with matching dress belt with sword frog and strap and an officer's dress sword that also features cherry blossoms.
Dimensions are: Jacket, 32 inches long, 15 1/2 wide at shoulders; 81.3 cm long, 39.4 cm wide. Sword, blade 27 1/4 inches, 69.2 cm long. Overall, 33 3/4 inches, 85.7 cm long (with scabbard). All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Jacket has some loose bullion braiding, stitching loose at one armpit, aging to leather belt. Sword scabbard has loss to plating, sword blade with scattered finish wear, minor pitting.
