Japanese late Edo watercolor painted screen, depicting birds and trees. Signed by Yamamoto Tamen. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Wei Yuan Hsueh and Emily Hsueh, Dallas, Texas. Owners of the former Oriental Art Shop in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Hsueh was a Chinese government official as Consul to Jamaica and Consul to Germany prior to beginning Oriental Art Shop. Each panel: 55"H x 19"W, Circa - Late 18th - Early 19th C.
