In the style of Wilson, Jasperware Biscuit Barrell, brown with white design in relief, 19th century, 5.75 inches tall, 5.25 inches diameter, metal base, rim, handle and lid, indistinguishable mark to base, former owner's note on base dates piece 1820-1850. Provenance: From the estate of Arthur B. de Saint Maurice, the great-grandson of the Hudson River School painter Regis Gignoux.
Condition Report: Metal tarnished in places, light discoloration to the white design elements, overall good condition.
