The picture on the left edge is glued to a piece of painting paper, which in turn is glued to a cardboard. Saint Jerome is pictured with a book and feather in his hand, supported on a "lion’? " head with halo around the head and a trumpet. The book reads "Joh. Wolfg. Baumgartner 1760". On the paper below the picture at the bottom right written "New Window Sebastius Church Nuremberg 1760". On the back of the picture are other inscriptions, which are difficult to identify. The painting was purchased at the auction house Kings Russel Auctioneers.
