Oil on canvas which is unlined. The canvas tension is slightly slack. There are several patches on the reverse of the canvas covering old holes and damage. Old damages have been filled and crudely retouched. The paint layer is stable overall. There is an uneven layer of varnish which is patchy and yellowed. The frame is in a good condition.
