Description: Set is comprised of teapot, coffee pot, kettle with lampstand and separate lamp holder, hot water jug, creamer, sugar and double-handled tray.

Per the Sotheby Parke-Bernet catalog, "This, and the following three lots are stated to have been a present from Queen Victoria to Prince Belosselsky-Belozersky in 1853 on the occasion of his marriage to a German Bride." Lot is accompanied by documentation including the original invoice issued by Sotheby Parke-Bernet (Parke-Bernet Galleries Inc.) New York, dated 11.23.1971, copies of the relevant pages of the auction catalog, insurance letter dated 1.24.1972, and related correspondence with Firestone and Parson Jewelers, Boston, Massachusetts between 2005-2007. Provenance: Sotheby Parke-Bernet, New York 11.23.1971 auction (sale 3273), lots 51 and 53 | Private Collection, Palm Beach, Florida.
