Condition Report:
This work is in fair condition overall. There are textural and tonal variations to the work, including scattered studio splash, adhesive residue and irregular edges to the collage elements, inherent to the artist's working method and chosen media. There is overall fading and discoloration to the sheet and various collage elements, consistent with the age of the work. The sheet has been adhered to a backing board, which is not inherent to the work, along the front edges with tape, not visible when framed. There is adhesive residue from the mat along the taped edges, not affecting the sheet and not visible when framed. There is minor undulation with associated soft creases along the edges of the sheet potentially due to the applied tape. There is a 2 inch tear to the right side of the paper nose collaged element with minor associated paint loss. Framed under Plexiglas.
