Striking square black lacquer kabuto storage box 兜櫃 (kabuto gitsu) . Equipped with two pole-carrying handles for easy transport. The edges of the box are reinforced with locks and hardware to protect the corners and sides. It has several traces of restorations, age and ware, which adds to the authentic feel of this piece.
