A Korean two-part metal mounted elm tansu chest, early 20th century, the upper section with rectangular top over four short drawers and pair of cupboard doors below, raised on a lower section fitted with a pair of cupboard doors with bail handles to either side.
Dimensions:Height 43 1/4in; width 33 1/4in; depth 14 1/4in.
Provenance:From a Chester County estate.
Condition Report: Structurally sound. Scattered marks, wear, scuffs, abrasions and small losses overall. One of the small drawers with veneer loss to the front. Minor bending to metalwork. The upper cupboard is in the locked position.
