LARGE ANTIQUE PERSIAN 'TREE OF LIFE' KHORASSAN CARPET. Circa date: Late 19th century. 22 ft 2 in x 13 ft (6.76 m x 3.96 m). Size: 22 ft 2 in x 13 ft (6.76 m x 3.96 m)
Condition: Overall very good condition. Even pile throughout. This carpet has been given a light chemical wash to soften the colors but this has not affected the structure of the carpet. Minor natural corrosion to browns but not with exposed foundation. Sides and ends complete and stabilized. Carpet is clean and floor ready. A wonderful tree of life of design with many birds within a prayer arch format. Very well-drawn and in a soft-palette.
