Sublime rare "Florentine" soliflore vase on a single flower pedestal, with a long hot-worked circled neck, an opacified base of the famous "Smoked Brown" mass-tinted, fully rotating hot-enamelled decoration with a pretty so-called "Renaissance" decoration " enlivened with delightful garlands of wild flowers, very delicately hand-painted in the purest Art Nouveau style of the period.
Remarkable high quality work of very thick enamelling with many pretty shades of color from this great master glassmaker from the end of the 19th century, who in this proof has nothing to envy of the other great names in glassmaking from the beginning of the 19th century. 20th century like Émile Gallé or Daum Nancy.
Very nice height of 310mm with a nice volume with a diameter of 120mm and a circumference of 380mm at the widest!
Extremely rare proof called "Florentine" form, perfectly referenced and listed in the Legras Verrier catalog raisonné with this magnificent "Renaissance" decoration, very rarely produced and therefore quite sought after by collectors.
Remarkable work of execution by the blower who was able to give a magnificent slender and captivating geometric shape to the vase. Very beautiful handicraft work from the end of the 19th century.
In very good condition for its great age (over 134 years) ! with a very fresh and thick enamelling and very bright colors. Please note just a few slight discreet small cooking defects common to it trapped during blowing which does not detract from the charm of this magnificent Legras/Montjoye collection piece and makes it a unique and rare piece.
