Condition Report:
The canvas has been fully laid down on to a supportive wooden panel. The edges of the canvas are unevenly cut. The edges are slightly frayed in places. The impasto in the work has been largely flattened by the laying down process. There is some studio matter, detritus and surface dirt to the work.

Inspection under Ultraviolet light reveals some isolated and sensitively executed areas of retouching in the skirting board and in the door of the gallery.

The work is held within a carved and gilt wooden frame.
