LOT EIGHT GERMAN FAIRING PORCELAIN PIG FIGURINES

A lot of eight Victorian era collectible German Novelty fairing porcelain pig figurines including pigs in bathing, walking in costumes, bed, sitting on a chair, cooking, carrying baskets scenes, and others. They were prizes or trinkets when the large fairs were in their heyday. All figurines are painted in the same green and peachy pink colors for the pigs and adorned with gilding. One is titled with English proverb, A Stitch In Time Saves Nine. Several are titled with engraving. Circa: 1850s-1900s. German porcelain figurines and decor collectibles.
