Condition Report:
The canvas has been lined. Surface dirt and minor superficial scratches. Scattered dotted stains to the upper right quadrant. Craquelure is present, most noticeably to the darker pigments of the salmon. Some minor abrasions to the upper right extreme edge commensurate with rubbing to the frame. The paint appears slightly thin in areas. Inspection under UV reveals an uneven cloudy varnish and various restorations, including infilling and strengthening to the lower centre, between the salmon, and to their fins, gills and mouths. There are further dotted retouches to the sky and landscape, as well as some some slightly larger areas to the upper left corner and the right side of the canvas.
