Lamp - Glass, Marble, Spelter - Egyptian dancer
French bedside lamp from the 1920s/1930s on a green sea marble base.
A young Egyptian dancer, dressed in a draped dress and a turban, holds a globe in her hand. The sculpture is unsigned, but the careful details are very fine, worthy of the greatest sculptors of the time!
The sculpture is in very good condition, as is the marble base. The opaque glass globe, decorated with a geometric pattern, has been glued back on at the bottom. The repair is fairly solid and well done, and this anomaly is almost imperceptible unless one leans in to see it.
Old but functional electrical system, socket replaced to meet current standards. The lamp requires a bayonet bulb, which will be included in the package.
Please take a good look at the photos which are part of the description.
