This being a 1969 model year, the car retains the desirable features of the earlier models, like steel dashboard and center placement of instrument panel, while being on the more modern and updated Series IIA platform. A complete nut-and-bolt restoration was completed in August 2022, emphasizing keeping the car as original as possible. Photos of the car unrestored and undergoing restoration are included in the photo series in this auction. Only genuine Land Rover parts were used in the restoration.
