Large Chinese Kangxi Marked Blue White Peony Jar
Large jar with slight vertical rib lines, white ground, blue decorated with peonies and birds, geometric bands at rim and base, bears a four character Kangxi Qing mark on base, overall 12.25" x 10". Sold with receipt from 1963 and letter from Captain W. J. McBain state he has owned it since 1931. Condition: Multiple cracks on one side.
