Ruth Cozen Snyder (1918–2019)

A prominent California painter, sculptor and educator, Ruth Cozen Snyder was born on July 15, 1918 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and died on February 5, 2019 in Los Angeles, California where she had lived since 1922.

This beautiful sculpture is made in tubular aluminum, some of the pieces are coiled and look loike large springs, the base is wide to support the additional pieces that can be moved and arranged to create different compositions.

The height and width/depth can change depending how you arrange the coiled pieces.

The piece is signed to the base.

71 inches high x 80 inches wide x 84 inches deep
