Additional Information: Provenance: Private Collection, Palm Beach, Florida. The consignor purchased this work and another by the artist in 2006, shortly before the premiere of the "Purvis of Overtown" documentary at the Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival, which she also attended. In her words, "I remember [the festival] very well; Purvis attended together with Larry Clemons, a big supporter of Purvis and co-producer of the documentary. Larry Clemons had introduced me to Purvis and his work a few years earlier, before I began investing in art."
