Large Roman Silver Bow Brooch

2nd-3rd century AD. A substantial silver P-shaped bow brooch with external coiled spring and pin, curved triangular bow with short foot and returned finial with collars and lateral clips. Cf. From the private collection of a Croatian Professor; acquired on the European art market in 1982.
