Large Stingray with Fish

Fine preservation in the most minute details is seen in this marvelous freshwater stingray from the prehistoric system of three lakes known as the Green River Formation. The attractive golden-hued limestone matrix is from the F-2 Horizon of this famous geologic formation. The present large stingray is accompanied by three Knightia eocaena fish, the state fossil of Wyoming. The limestone matrix is offered with a wood backing.
