1. Felix Frankfurter ANS. No place, n.d., signed "Filly" and addressed to "Dearest Telly". Reading in full: "Nice man, the Rabbi. I have written to Smith and Beogit. It was a joy to see you."

2. Morrison R. Waite TLS. Washington, D.C., dated May 5, 1876. Signed "M.R. Waite" and addressed to J.B. Delameter. Reading in part: "…I do not understand that I have any power to make the appointment, certainly out of court. I shall see Judge Bond before long however and consult with him on the subject."

3. Wiley B. Rutledge TLS. Washington, D.C., dated October 25, 1943. Signed "Wiley Rutledge" and addressed to Theresa W. Meess, thanking her for sending articles on his retirement.

4. Gabriel Duvall LS. Washington, D.C., dated February 8, 1808. Signed "G. Duvall" and addressed to Nathaniel Tholsome, Esq., stating he received the statement of official Emoluments and Expenditures for 1807.

6. Levi Woodbury ALS. Washington, D.C., dated March 5, 1840. Signed "Levi Woodbury", sending his autograph to Samuel Gookin.

This is just a smattering of the items included, all with bold and clear signatures. Some of the letters have flattened folds, and the group has varying degrees of toning and soiling. A few letters have separations at the folds. Overall very good.

This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.
