A large and attractive Etrusco-Corinthian ceramic platter, 4th Century BC, with heavy ring foot and flat rim. The vessel is slipped in a tan paint and the interior adorned a swan and lion motif bordered by concentric circles. The design is rendered in an orange slip with added details in red. 12 1/2 x 2 7/8 in (32.7 x 6.9 cm). Ex Artemis Gallery, CO; Ex Maryland private collection.
