Large industrial and heavy coffee grinder, Model "C5" Peugeot Frères Brevetés S. G. D. G. This coffee grinder model was used during the late 19th century in a large industry. The pin you see in the picture connects to its original lever - present ! ! ! - making the grinding process much easier. The machine is made of cast iron and wood. On the front it has a drawer in which the ground coffee was collected. The grains were introduced into the funnel placed in the upper part; the latter is enameled in white inside, to allow the beans to slide more easily along its walls. On the side, on the opposite side to that to which the lever is connected, a large wheel which, if turned manually, carried out the same grinding operation. While the coffee was being ground, the wheel turned by itself. The model name is visible on the car itself, as well as Peugeot Frères Brevetés S. G. D. G. - located on the square cast iron base. The machine rests on a square wooden base, which supports the machine itself. This incredible coffee grinder is a machine of disarming ancient beauty, a real museum piece!
