Late 18th or19th c Dunlap School Queen Anne Chest

Early 19th c Queen Anne Dunlap school 3 drawer chest-on-chest base with mid 19th c. later added top and splash. Most likely from the workshop of Samuel Dunlap (NH 1752-1830) . Maple with pine secondary possessing trademark "Whaletail" shaped skirt flourishes (one tine replaced), triple carved fans, false drawers, and skillfully carved bandy legs consistent with other Dunlap made pieces. Later refinish - Found in the Boyd family farmhouse Peru, NY 41" x 40" x 21"
