Rare pendulum clock ‘L'Epée’, fully functional, never repaired, of contemporary production, based on a design of 1839 and gone out of stock; hand-wound movement complete with key, 8 days power reserve. The solid brass case is slightly burnished. Crystals are hand bevelled. It has hour and minute functions, and moon phase alarm. Movement with 11 jewels. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, exposed gear movement with signature. With its original box. Nowadays to own a pendulum clock ‘L'Epée’ means having a truly rare jewel, as this French company closed definitively in 1990. The pendulum measures 15x10x9 cm; including handle 20 cm.
