Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Glick av”d Tolcsva, author of Yad Yitzchak (1826-1909) was a prominent Hungarian rabbi and leading halachic decider. He zealously battled the Neologs. He was a son-in-law of Rabbi Yeshayah Banet, av”d Kalev, son of the Maharam Banet. He published the Shu”t Parshat Mordechai of his grandfather-in-law, Maharam Banet, with his Be’er Yitzchak comments on Tractates Gittin and Chullin and the Yad Yitzchak responsa – three large sections.
