William Lee-Hankey (British, 1869-1952), etching, mother with children, pencil signed and with artist's blindstamp in the lower margin and signed with artist's monogram in the plate lower left, sight 9 5/8" x 7" (with frame 15 1/2" x 12 3/4"); After Adriaen Jansz van Ostade (Dutch, 1610-1685), engraving, portrait of a peasant man with hat, artist initialed AvO in the plate center left and Adriaen van Ostade written in pencil on the mount below the image, image 2 1/2" x 2 5/8" (with frame 12 1/2" x 10 1/2"). Lee-Hankey no glass in frame, mat burn visible in margins, light discoloration to mat; van Ostade minor foxing to right side of mount and into image, discoloration upper left corner, scratches to frame.
