My dear sir I learn from Mr. Solis that he has given you in charge the 12 copies of my Maimonides which he was kind enough to take with him to America and I am very much obliged to you for the endevors you are making to dispose of them. I see you have advertised them in the Occident. I am un-acquaint -ed as []en with the terms which you take charge of [?geneist] literary works but I hope to learn them as soon as you write again to England, as i take to be hon [Verso:] -ored with a few times from you. I do not know if you have re -ceived a copy of this book which I sent you because [] ti[] after its appearance through [] [][][] ( [] Mrs. Levitus) who processed to forward it to you.
