Lega: An 18 Carat Gold Full Hunter Quarter Repeater Chronograph Pocket Watch, signed Lega, circa 1900, gilt finished lever movement, column wheel chronograph movement quarter repeat striking with two hammers on two steel outer gongs, enamel dial with Arabic numerals, inner red 24 hour chapter ring, outer fifth of seconds track, seconds dial, plain polished case with chronograph and repeat buttons in the band, cuvette signed and numbered 333668 and Grand Diplome D'Honneur, case with French owl 18 carat gold mark 58mm wide

Case with surface scratches, case sides and covers with minor dents visible under an eyeglass, repeat button with small scratches, dial with very minor scratches and one very minor chip to the centre aperture, these are only visible under an eyeglass, apart from this the dial is clean, hand setting correctly and winding smoothly, chronograph is working but not returning back to the 12 o clock position when pressing the button to flyback, at the moment the chronograph hand returns back to the 4 o'clock position, quarter and hour repeating correctly, balance has a good swing, movement in going order. Total watch weight 130.7g. We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. We cannot guarantee a reply to any requests made within 48 hours of the start of the auction. The absence of a Condition Report from a lot does not mean that the lot is in perfect condition.
