Sublime large vase with opaque background of the famous "Vert Antique" tinted in the mass, with enamelled decoration of ravishing wild roses in flowers and in buds, surrounded by fine branching very delicately hand-painted, coupled with a broad frieze of flowered arabesque all around the neck. Remarkable work of very high quality from the very early 20th century by this great master glassmaker. Height: approx. 210 mm Very rare proof from the "Vert Antique" series (patented by Legras & Cie) listed and illustrated in the famous catalogue répertoire raisonné "Verrerie Artistique et Populaire Française” Vase in a beautiful state of preservation for its age, with a very fresh enamel and pretty shades of colours.
