Old blown glass cylinder vase with hot enameled decoration of lovely Tokyo flowers or Chrysanthemums, very delicately hand painted, accompanied by pretty green foliage.
Very beautiful work of the execution of the enamelling with the subtle pretty nuances of color of these pretty flowers.
Signed Jem in the decor

Quite rare industrial print proof, produced in very small quantities and therefore quite sought after by collectors of enameled flower vases.
Remarkable high quality enameling work by the glassmaker Joseph MURE known as "JEM" Famous student of F-Théodore Legras who was one of the four master glassmakers at the founding of Art Nouveau with: Gallé, Daum and Lalique. His nephew, Charles Legras, will take over the management of the Legras & Cie business after his death. The vases are then signed either: “Legras”, “Leg”, St-Denis, or “Sargel”, or “JEM”
In good condition for its great age, no cracks or chips. Just note some common wear and tear due to time spent (more than 110 years) ! which takes nothing away from the charm of this very beautiful and rare collector's vase from the very beginning of the 20th century. See detailed photos
