Letter by Admor Rabbi Mordechai Cahana of Spinka- Neuhäusel HY"D, on behalf of his son Rabbi Tzvi [Spinka Rebbe of Los Angeles]. 1939
The letter concerns Rabbi Mordechai’s son, Tzvi Kahana (who became the Admor of Spinka-Los Angeles, USA), who was in Jerusalem, learning Torah and looking for a shidduch, but his lack of a livelihood was delaying his ability to get married. Rabbi Mordechai asked the rabbi of Jerusalem “to do him a favor, in the merit of his tzaddikim ancestors, and see if he could be appointed a mashgiach or something similar, to be able to earn a living and marry his fiancé in a timely manner.”
