Letter from Rabbi Chaim Tzuker, AB”D of Beregszász, Grandson of the Kol Aryeh

Neatly written letter of Torah novella from Rabbi Chaim Tzuker, Av Beis Din of Beregszász, addressed to his cousin, Rabbi Yosef HaKohen Schwarts, author of Vayilkat Yosef. Both the writer and the addressee were grandchildren of the Kol Aryeh.
The letter begins with matters regarding the delivery of his father’s sefarim and continues with interesting Torah insights.

Rabbi Chaim Tzuker (1885 - 1944) was the son of Rabbi Eliezer Tzuker, Av Beis Din of Beregszász and son-in-law of the Kol Aryeh. He was a tremendous Torah scholar, proficient in all aspects of Torah and succeeded his father’s position in Beregszász in 1932. He perished in the Holocaust. Rabbi Chaim authored Tal Chaim on Torah and Chelkas Chaim Responsa.
