Letter from Rabbi Meir Shapira of Lublin, to his wife.

Handwritten and signed letter from the famed Rabbi Meir Shapira addressed to his wife.
Rabbi Shapira wrote this letter while away from home, he's writing to her that the son of the Terisker Rebbe asked him if they can use his apartment for guest who are coming for a wedding.
Then Rabbi Meir Shapiro is writing to her some instructions about money.

R' Meir Schapiro (1887-1933), was known as a child prodigy and referred to as the Illui of Shotz. He served as Rav of Galina, Sanock, Pietrikow and finally Lublin and was one of the most influential rabbinic leaders in pre-war Poland. He founded Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin which became the flagship Yeshiva of Poland and initiated the Daf Ha’Yomi program which is learned by tens of thousands to this day. In the course of the establishment of Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin, R. Meir Schapiro visited America where he traveled extensively among the established Jewish communities fundraising.
