Overall in very good condition. The bronze throughout with a rich green patina that presents with a slightly brighter green hues than pictured in the catalogue photography. The patinated surface presents with signs of expected age throughout, namely areas with light discoloration, occasional darkening to the patina and oxidation, particularly noticeable on the upper edges of the backrest and legs, and are consistent with age. The figurative mouse is intact and retains its complex decorative elements. The upholstered leather seat has been sensitively replaced and presents with very light surface scratches consistent with gentle use. A charming and rare stool emblematic of the artist's practice.
