Lot of 2 Byzantine Glass Bracelets

Ancient Near East, Holy Land, Late Byzantine Empire, ca. 14th to 15th century CE. Two beautiful glass bracelets or armbands of elegant circular forms. The smaller band features opaque lime-green glass wrapped around a translucent yellow-green core, and has six separated panels featuring opaque white, brown, orange, and yellow glass. The larger bracelet is composed of similar lime-green glass with a slanted body, twisted canes of yellow, green, and white glass along both peripheral edges, and wide panels of yellow, black, and white glass on the main body. Size of largest (slanted band): 2.875" Diameter (7.3 cm); size of wrist opening on largest: 2.4" Diameter (6.1 cm).
