Title:Lot of German Soldier WWI Passbooks and Soldier Portrait Photo EphemeraDescription: Lot of German Soldier WWI Passbooks and Soldier Portrait Photo Ephemera. We have three separate WWI German Soldier passbooks/papers here as well as 1 Sarajevo Soldier portrait photograph from Aterlier Danica. The photo is entitled “Franz Josef No 18”. The Of the 3 German WWI passbooks, one is a hard cover and one is just a cover for papers and not a book at all. The hardcover passbook is dated that of 1907 and has the name of “Georg Zolthko” inside. Please be advised that the binding is coming apart on this. The 2nd passbook, called a Militarpak, is sort of yellow green in color. It was issued in 1916 and the name looks like Layfe Wilhelm but I am sure I just butchered that. It has some stamped and signed papers inside that I could not read if I tried. The 3rd passbook is really only a passbook cover dated 1915 and is green in color. I guess passbook covers are very rare. I cannot read the name on this but one word looks like it says “Butterweck”. All books have staining and are tattered a bit. All items very rare and valuable.
