Measurements: 5 x 3.5 cm (bell); 5 x 2 cm (sculpture); 5.5 cm (diameter).
Set comprising a bell, a statuette and an applique. Metals were among the most common materials used for tableware and everyday objects in Roman times, and were even used to make small pieces of furniture, embossed and cast, such as the brazier from the temple of Isis in Pompeii, supported by four feet in the shape of a feline claw. Metals were also used in most of the pieces of armour worn by soldiers on parade.
