Lots 1-52 form the van Daalen Collection of early Chinese art. Albert (1927-2018) and Leonie van Daalen-Roell (1930-2018) were descendants of well-respected Dutch families who were considered amateur collectors. Albert started collecting from an early age, and went on to form an important and extensive art collection. The following fifty lots represent the pinnacle of his decades of meticulous and passionate collecting.
