"Answers to the accusations made by the French Justice against me as treason and reproduced by the Danish Judicial Police during my interrogations" Copenhagen – November 6, 1946 Rare document - Mimeographed typescript by Louis-Ferdinand Céline of 10 pages in-4 with some handwritten corrections - Complete and in very good condition (slight staple marks only) Plea written in prison and sent in March 1947 to the President of the Court of Justice of the Seine, to some journalists and friends of the writer. Edition of approximately 75 copies. This one was sent to his stepfather Jules Almansor, father of Lucette Destouches. Faced with the accusations made against her, Céline proclaims her innocence. Here is a quote from the document: “I don't remember writing a single anti-Semitic line since 1937. I have never, in fact, at any time in a single line of my books pushed for anti-Semitic persecution. I protested against the action of certain anti-Semitic clans who were pushing us to war. It's quite different. (. .) I am probably the only renowned writer who has remained strictly, jealously, fiercely a writer and just a writer, without any compromise. » Neat shipment
