Period center table, polychrome decorated round top, center hand painted plaque depicting bust of Louis XIV, border consisting of sixteen plaque bust of women and one with crest, all framed in engraved brass panel. Ormolu gilt bronze trim over ebonized turned support, ornate gilt bronze foliate garland accents, splayed tri foot base, all on castors. Overall 32" h. x 30". Condition: Wear, loss, and restoration to paint decoration. Evidence of prior woodworms.
