Lovely Antique Early 1900s French Victorian Framed

Lovely Antique early 1900's possibly late 1800's French Victorian framed woven tapestry featuring a gathering in a courtyard and a man on a chariot can be seen out in the distance. Beautiful complex and intricate detailing especially on the clothing and in the trees. With the tapestry being quite old there are few imperfections along with some discoloration and very minor "stains". The piece was framed not to long ago but will definitely need to be re-stretched as the tapestry is sagging quite a bit and is showing exposed glue (see image). The frame really adds compliment to the work of art and features a lovely ornate detailing with no known damages. The frame measures 63 3/4" x 46 3/4" and the tapestry measures approx 52 1/2" x 35 1/2". This unique tapestry can compliment or add a focal point to any space.Â
