EXHIBITIONS: Casa del Cordón (Vitoria) 1983, Sala Olenca (Valladolid) 1985, La Latina (Valladolid) 1986, BBV Torrelavega (Cantabria) 1987, M. R. Arroyo is a self-taught painter. At the beginning of the nineties he travels to Berlin and Augsburg (Germany) . He also goes to Naples (Italy) where he exhibits at the Torre Anunciata Town Hall. Upon his return, he made an exhibition in Augburg at the Kunsthalle, where he met his representative and friend Herbert Schweizer, with whom he worked until his death in 1998. Between 1992 and 1998, his works were sold by Herbert to collectors in the USA, Germany, England, Italy, Holland, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Mozambique. In 1999 he takes a break dedicating himself to the family business. In 2007 he decides to return to painting and settles in the Cartagena countryside. In 2014 he moved to Bullas (Murcia) where, in addition to painting, he began with a craft project collaborating with the town's guild (El Zacatin) .
