Manfred Besser studied in Hamburg with Willem Grimm. The atmosphere of the harbor had a particular effect on his work and in the 1970s he opened his own gallery on the Landungsbrücken, later an office for artists' materials. His drawings, oil and acrylic works have been shown in numerous galleries and museums across Germany. In addition to his artistic work, Besser also worked as curator and manager for Udo Lindenberg, for whom he organized 40 exhibitions and whom he provided artistic advice.Show more
